The mission of the CARE Working Group is to develop novel treatment approaches for patients for whom there are no other therapeutic options (unmet medical needs).
Our research focuses on a thorough understanding of the failing cardiovascular system to facilitate the development of devices and methods that replace or restore circulatory function by mechanical means (Mechanical Circulatory Support).
Our team covers the entire development pipeline in terms of digital and experimental methodologies to translate innovative ideas into thoroughly tested novel treatment approaches.
